“A great cycling experience just outside of Kampala. It was rainy season, so the ride was muddy in areas, but still fun. Zaga was a great host leading me through trails on the east side of Lake Victoria. Added bonus was the bike ride crossing the lake. You'll see various birds diving into the water hunting for fish.”

“It was a perfect experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Kampala is a large city with some nice areas. The markets are very crowded and might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed them nevertheless. At the end, we visited the beautiful mosque, which offers excellent views from the courtyard and (I can only assume) even better views from the top of the tower/minaret. You can even climb to the top. Unfortunately, I had to pass on that opportunity, as I was still recovering from my gorilla trekking in the previous days. But then again, that might just be a reason to come back someday.”
